Bonnie Kay Sullivan, 68, of Lee's Summit, Missouri, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2008 with her children by her side. Services will be held on Friday, April 4, 2008 in Springfield, Mo at. Hermah H Lohmeyer Funeral Home in Springfield, MO at 6:00pm. Graveside burial will be on Saturday April 5, 2008 in Okmulgee, OK at 1:00pm at Okmulgee Family Cemetery.
Bonnie was born on July 21, 1939 in Shreveport Louisiana to Fred and Elizabeth (Powell) Kiser. She grew up and attended school in Okmulgee, OK and lived in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Springfield, and the Kansas City area. Bonnie's love for art and her creative flair took her back to school and she eventually earned her Associates Degree in Art. Bonnie loved gardening, decorating, lunching with her "lunch bunch" group, and spending time with her ten grandchildren. Bonnie never knew a stranger, and her compassion, honesty, humor, and selflessness will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ricky Kiser. She is survived by her children Elizabeth & Andy Humble of Blue Springs, MO, David & Amy Sullivan of Blue Springs, MO,Emily & Mark Zastrow of Mission, KS, Sisters Alma Stanley of Tulsa, OK, Sharon Kiser of Sacramento, CA and grandchildren Chris, Callan, Jordan, Megan, Daniel, David, Steven, Lauren, Hannah, and Ashley.
