Bobby Stoops

Bobby “Bob” LeRoy Stoops, age 80 of Springfield, Missouri passed away on Monday morning, July 30, 2018 at The Maples Health and Rehabilitation Center in Springfield.

He was born September 26, 1937 in Springfield, Missouri the son of Roscoe Robert Stoops and Ethel Mae (Ray) Stoops.

On December 5, 1955 he married Regenia P. Warsback. She passed away on December 24, 2008.
Bob served his country in The United State Air Force from 1954-1956.

He was an exterminator for Pest Control Companies for many years prior to his retirement.

He enjoyed singing and playing the guitar.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe & Ethel Stoops; his wife, Regenia P. Stoops; one son, Ricky Stoops; a sister, Wilma Dunn; three brothers, Joe Stoops, Bud Stoops and Paul Donald Stoops.

Bob is survived by his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ashley & Ricky, one sister, Marcella Stineman and her husband Bob of Columbia, Missouri, two brothers, Jerry D. Stoops and his wife Pamela of North Port, Florida, Bruce D. Stoops and his wife Paula of Springfield, Missouri; many nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 am, Friday, August 3, 2018 at Eastlawn Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri where full Military Honors will also be rendered.
