Bobbie Barnett

Bobbie Sue Barnett, 67, of Springfield, passed away on July 26,2023, due to a Heart Attack.

Bobbie was born on January 11,1956, to Bobby & Betty Johnson in Springfield, Missouri. After graduating from Central High School, she worked at Willow Brook Foods for many years, she retired and worked part-time at Mc’Donalds.

She has 3 children, Tyree Johnson, Shannel Johnson & Shanessa Cunningham ( deceased).

Bobbie was an amazing kind-hearted person to her family and anyone she came into contact with, was like family to her. She loved being busy, hence the fact she retired and then ended up with a part-time job. Bobbie loved spending time with her family, cooking for everyone, fishing, trips with her family, going to Casino to try her luck and weekend card games with her children and grandchildren.

Bobbie was predeceased by her daughter, Shanessa, father; Bobby; mother Betty; sisters Lori Carter, Barbara Ann Johnson; brothers, Cecil Johnson, Tony Hancock.

She is survived by her 2 children, Tyree Johnson & Shannel Johnson (Eric); Grandchildren & Greatgrandchildren, Eli, Shanessa (Quadares), Za’Mhir, Zion, D’Alize, Satina (Ryan) Za’Lilyah, Zhavion Za’Montae, Marquette, Sakirah (Rashad) Zyiel, Savaya; Sa’Niya, Mattias, Janessa, Javeon, Javon; two sisters Brenda Brown (Tony), Kathryn Johnson (Ray), brother Joel (Debra); her Boyfriend Bobby Ball ,her aunt Shirley Thomas, and so many nephews and nieces, cousins and other extended family.

Visitation will be held from 3:00-4:00pm Saturday, August 5th, 2023 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street in Springfield, Missouri. Funeral Services will begin at 4:00pm in the Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel with Minister Elizabeth Wells officiating. A repast will follow the service at 713 S. Newton in Springfield, Missouri (at the corner of State & Newton).
