Billy Williams

Billy David Williams, son of the late Leonard and Juanita Williams, was born March 31, 1951, in Charlestown, Indiana, and departed this life Monday, February 18, 2008 in his home in Springfield.

Bill was reared in the Southern Indiana area, but moved to Springfield in 1976. Bill was always in management and eventually owned his own business. He was a member of Twin Oaks Country Club and was very proud of the fact he had gotten a hole-in-one playing golf. Bill was an avid sports fan. He had a dry sense of humor and was well liked by everyone. He loved to travel. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite.

He is survived by his wife, Randie Williams of the home; sons, Jason and spouse Kathy Williams, Jarrod and spouse Melissa Williams; granddaughters Breighen and Sydnee. He also left a sister, three brothers, several other family members, and many friends who will truly miss him.

A celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2008, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Lewis Hejna celebrant under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut.

At his request, his body will be cremated and his remains will be distributed off the shores of Maui, Hawaii, where he and his wife had married.
