Betty Vaugine

Betty Vaugine, 93, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, June 10th at her home, with her loving family by her side.

Betty was born March 9th, 1929, in Bruce, Mississippi, the daughter of Frank and Ruth (Stevenson) Crutchfield.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt. She was known for her laugh and kindness. She loved gardening, painting, crossword puzzles, and above all else, spending time with her family. She will be missed by everyone that she knew.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Vaugine, her parents, and nine brothers and sisters.

Betty is survived by her children, Shelly Vaugine, Thomas Vaugine and wife Kathy, and Mark Vaugine; granddaughter, Rebekah Vaugine; great granddaughter, Avayla Vaugine; her only surviving sister, Patsy (Crutchfield) Lovell.

Visitation will be from 5 pm until 7 pm Tuesday June 14, 2022 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut Street Springfield, Missouri. Funeral services will be at 12 noon Wednesday June 15, 2022 in the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Jennings officiating. Burial to follow at 2 pm in Missouri Veterans Cemetery Springfield, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Betty, to the Alzheimer's Association.
