Bettie Louise Weaver, 56, of Springfield, passed away at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008 in ManorCare Health Services.
Bettie was born August 10, 1951 in Steele, Missouri to Harry and Christine (Haggar) Prouty. She is survived by her five children, Noah Whorton, Naomi Ruth Landis, Connie Jett, Sarah Apley and ScottyWeaver, nine grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008 in Fresh Heart Foursquare Church in Springfield. No visitation is planned. Arrangements are under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.hhlohmeyer.com.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
