Bertha Hudson

Bertha Louise Hudson, 76, Ash Grove, passed away at 6:20 p.m. Friday May 4, 2012 in Ash Grove Healthcare. She was born June 23, 1935 in Sawyarwood, Ohio to John and Esther (Nash) Sumner. Mrs. Hudson was a homemaker and was very artistic, she enjoyed and was very good at painting ceramic figurines. She attended South Haven Baptist Church for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Aaron of Ash Grove; a daughter, Kathie Dunn, Ash Grove; sons, Cliff Hudson, Chehalis, WA, and Jim Hudson, Mossy Rock, WA; step-daughter, Kathy Maiden, Tampa, FL; step-son, Daniel Hudson, Kansas City, KS; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, June Johnson, Springfield, MO.
Memorial Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery with Pastor Paul Harvey officiating, under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut, Springfield, MO. No visitation is planned.
