Bernice Delores Shipman, 87, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at the Select Speciality Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Harry Thomas Schneider and Clara (Mueller) Schneider.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Shipman; her daughter, Cynthia Foster; her son, Cory Putnam and sister, Gerry Claus.
She is survived by her six children; Tom and his wife, Ann Putnam, Art and his wife, Claudia Putnam, Stephen Putnam, Kathleen Putnam, Colleen Bilton, and Karen and her husband, Mike Huff; thirteen grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was a proud Veteran having served her country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Bernice will be interred through Norton Funeral Home at the Sodus City Cemetery in Sodus, New York.
