Barry Smith, 75, of Springfield, MO., passed away after a long illness on August 8, 2024.
He was born in Ft. Leavenworth, KS on April 2, 1949 to Frank Smith and Jewell (Minor) Smith.
He graduated from Glendale High School in 1967 and attended Missouri State University. A talented painter, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Art.
Barry is survived by his son, Morgan Smith of St. Joseph, MO. a granddaughter, Megan Mooningham, his brother Craig and his wife Laurie, of Belleville, IL, his brother, Doane of Springfield, MO., his brother, Alan of Gainesville, MO. Two nieces and many nephews.
