Barbara Smith

Barbara Lee Smith, age 63 of Springfield, Missouri passed away on Sunday morning, November 18, 2018.

She was born July 5, 1955 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the daughter of Ron Johnson and Kathryn (Koeller) Johnson.

Barbara was a registered nurse and worked for Cox Health Systems in Springfield. She served in the United States Air Force. Barbara enjoyed knitting, crocheting and needlepoint. She was very creative. She was also an avid reader, she loved her mysteries novels. She also worked in the ministry with her husband, Terry.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Terry Smith; her son, Joshua Allen Smith; her daughter, Jessica Renee Smith; grandson, Jayden Smith; her sister, Joyce Johnson; and a brother, Rick Johnson.

Memorial graveside services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, November 26, 2018 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield where Full Military Honors will be rendered.
