Mrs. Barbara Judith Shearhart, 75 of Springfield passed away Saturday morning March 12, 2011 in Christian Health Care West. Barbara was born October 30, 1935 in Erie, Pennsylvania to Ernest and Theodate (Stahl) Ashley.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Heather and Sean Najafi, her son, David Shearhart; her five grandchildren, Christina Smeriglio, Michael Brown, Autumn Najafi, Matthew Najafi and Brandon Shearhart; her great grandchild, Kayden Hardin; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday March 17, 2011 in Washburn Prarie Cemetery near Washburn, Missouri with Rev. Kenneth Hull officiating under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut Street. Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday March 16, 2011 in the funeral home.
