April Lorrane Newton, 49, Grovespring, MO passed away Saturday March 17, 2012 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, MO. She was born June 26, 1962 in Flagstaff, AZ to Clinton E. Wager Jr. and Jimana J. Fanning. She was a homemaker.
April lived her life to help others. She was a kind and loving mom, sister and daughter. She never hurt a fly, ant, spider…

She was preceded in death by her father and her husband William Newton.

Survivors include her sons; Michael W. Newton and wife Leah, Corey Williams, daughter; Christina Hayhurst, sisters; Amber Meredith and husband Randy, Andrea Shifflet and husband William, brother; Adam Wager and wife Michele, also surviving is her mother; Jimana Murray, her step-mother Christine Wager, grandmother Evelyn Wager, nieces and nephews, Riely Wager, Jessica Averett, Adam Shifflet, Noah Shifflet, Hunter Wager, Shannon Meredith, Brittany Rader and Samantha Brakebill.

Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home. No formal services are planned.
