Alice Runowski

Alice E. Runowski, 89, Springfield, passed away Monday April 16, 2012 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

She was born September 20, 1922 in Calcutta, India to John and Alice (Mulqueen) Kossenjans.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Runowski; son, Thomas Runowski; and daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Runowski.

She is survived by her sons, John Runowski (Cindi) and Richard Runowski (Beth); grandchildren, Michael Runowski, Eric Runowski (Joanna), Jennifer Runowski, Natasha Longpine (Matt), and Rick Runowski (Sandy); 9 great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday April 18, 2012 in St. Agnes Chapel with Fr. Mike McDevitt celebrant under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street.

There will be no visitation.

There will be a funeral mass in West Chicago, Illinois at 10:00 a.m. Friday April 20, 2012 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church 140 N. Oakwood Ave. West Chicago, IL 60185. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Chicago, Illinois.
