Alex Sarley, 79, Springfield, passed away March 23, 2009 in his home.
He was born November 10, 1929 to Michael and Catherine (Scardina) Sarley. Alex was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Sarley.
He is survived by his children, Cheryl Roberts, Kathy Aveen, Alex Sarley, Jr., Roxanne Castro, and Lisa Harris; eight grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday March 25, 2009 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Resurrection Cemetery with Fr. Denis Doughery, O.S.B. officiating.
