Ada Lee

Ada Lou Lee, age 87, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2023 in Springfield, Missouri.

Ada was born May 14, 1936 in Fisk, Missouri to Robert and Velma (Warren) Brewington and had five siblings.

Ada’s favorite role in life was being a grandparent to her only grandchild, Taylor. She treasured being Taylor’s Granny and loved attending her milestones throughout her life.

Ada has always had a soft spot for any animal. In the last few years, she adopted all the neighborhood cats! If she could, she would save all the dogs and cats in the world.

Ada was a member of Glenstone Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri.

Ada has cherished friends in Blayk and Katherine, Sean and Crystal. She appreciated them and knew she could always rely on them.

Ada was preceded in death by her three sons, David Mac Lee Jr, Gregory Allen Lee, and Russell Keith Lee; her siblings, Wynette Brewington, Juanita Baxter, Sue Willis, Connie Hodge, and Robert Brewington.

Ada is survived by her granddaughter Taylor Lee and her daughter-in-law Donna Lee.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00am Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Hazelwood Cemetery, 1642 E. Seminole Street in Springfield, Missouri with Pastor Ron Robinson officiating.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home in Springfield, Missouri.
