Condolence From: Kara Painter
Condolence: Nita....even tho it has been 5 1/2 months since Zhamar was taken, there isn't a day that goes by that he isn't thought about at our house. Kelbi thinks about him all the time, misses him more then words can say, and listens to his CD daily. The impact your young man had on his classmates is unbelievable. He will forever remain in their hearts and they all know he is singing with the Angels now, in fact, he is probably "out" singing the angels! The song he sang, "I Believe I Can Fly"..he is soaring now. Love you nita, and you will always and forever remain in our thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: Dear Mrs. Young,

I have just not read about the death of your son last month.

My son, too, was hit by a truck when he was just about the same age as your son. He and his sisters and I were crossing the street after coming back from the local swimming pool when he was struck. He received a fractured skull, and broken legs with trauma to them.

He lived a number of years thereafter.

But, nonetheless, I do know the sadness you feel and want to send my deepest condolences to you and your family.

Condolence: Nita,
It has almost been seven years since I last visited you for Parents As TEachers. I remember our 1st visit when you were pregnant with Zhamar and I remember all of the visits until he went to KTG. Reading the stories about him as a teenager reminded me of the same sweet boy that I use to visit as a pre-schooler. My prayers are with you and your family. I would love to visit with you again sometime...I am currently working at McGregor.

Condolence: Nita and Kids,
I am so sorry. I wish I could be here more for the three of you. I may not have always been around as much as I wanted too but I will say that I will miss him all the same. I wish to grant you peace of mind so that you may be able to heal and my the good lord grant you that strength. I will always remember that young smiling face that I gave a ride home to just days before the accident. Again my deepest sympathies.
Love always,
Julia Rebekah(Wurzbuger)Mallow

I did not make the connection of your family to this tragedy, I did not realize your grandson was that old already, how time flies. Words cannot the sorrow that we feel for loss, may God sustain you in the weeks to come.

Condolence: To Nita and the family, the Smith and McGhee family send our condolences to you all. Nita, I remember Mar Mar when he was like 2 and ya'll were going to Mt. Olive. Mar Mar was such a good, sweet, kind-hearted little man then. Although, I've been gone from Springfield for awhile, I have never forgotten all the individuals who have positively impacted my life and you, Nita were one of them. It was always a joy to have Mar Mar around!! You are in my prayers and thoughts.
Love,

Chermera (Smith) McGhee

Condolence: I want to express my sincere sympathy to the family of Zhamar. I remember Zhamar well from my days as principal at Williams. His smile certainly lighted our hallways, and his talents and potential shown brightly. It is rare that a young person makes such an impact so soon in their life, but Zhamar certainly had done so. Now, he will receive his just reward. :) May God grant you all His peace that passes all understanding at this difficult time.
