Condolences

Condolence From: Sherry Monroe
Condolence: My deepest felt sympathies are with you on your loss. My name is Sherry and my husband I were missionaries in South Africa and Swaziland for 10 years. We have 3 adult daughters (that's what we tell everyone). What we don't often say is that we also had a beuatiful baby boy named Adam James Monroe, stillborn on November 20, 1980. We were not on the field when we "lost" him; We were in New Hampshire pastoring. It has been almost 28 years now. I can say that the pain lessens, but never totally goes away. In the beginning the pain and grief were unbearable, I didn't think I could handle it. In those early days, I had to rely on God minute, sometimes seconds at a time. I suppose I could go on. But let me say, I am changed because of it. And I thank God for carrying me through. If you want to email me, please feel free. I will understand.

It was several years later God gave us Brent and Scott. We lost him over 40 years ago, and at times it feels like it was yesterday. May God hug you close and let you feel His presence during this time. We are praying for you. Love & Prayers, Ron and Gloria

Condolence From: Betty and Paul Estes
Condolence: Jerry and Paula, We are so sorry to learn of the loss of your little baby boy. Many things in life are extremely difficult but this surely must be the most painful separation to have to endure as a parent. My heart is touched by the memory of this precious baby's mother, grandmother, grandfather and aunt as I recall many wonderful times we shared as the extended family of God. Later, Jerry was introduced as husband and as another member of the family of God. And now Josiah David is added to the growing family but without the opportunity to know him. We await the day when eternity begins and we shall know him then. Draw comfort and strength from each other and the Lord will carry the portion of the burden you are not able to bear. Love, Betty and Paul Estes

Condolence: Blessings to you in your work. My wife and I have lost 4 children in the first two weeks of their lives. the first lived 16 days, the second, 2 days, the third, one day and the fourth still born. We love children and can't understand why God would allow this. However it has happened and the pain is terrible. I will pray for you upon every remembrance of you and since i got your email that has been daily. He is faithful even though the trail gets tough. God loves you and you are both His precious treasures. Don't get into the why's or what if's or you will only bring doubt and fear into your life and ministry. Josiah is with the Lord and you will be able to enjoy him for eternity very soon. Suffering with you, Michael

Condolence From: Chaplain Ken Fornicola
Condolence: How grateful we are for the abundant supply of God's grace during times such as these. We are never alone. One walks with us Who has been down the path of suffering and tests of faith. He will not fail you. He will reveal some aspect of His nature and character previously not seen if we wait upon him. He is the master of every storm strolling effortlessly across the turbulence and inviting us to join Him by faith. You are not alone. Find that place of rest in His hands and let Him refresh and renew you. Your loss may be assuaged by the thought that Josiah will never suffer in this fallen world. He dwells in perfection at Jesus'side.
