Obituary for Mark Wallace

Mark Michael Wallace was born Nov. 4, 1959 in Springfield, Missouri to George and Geneva Wallace.

He passed away December 26, 2009 in St. John's Hospital surrounded by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Tonya of the home. Three sons, Robert Wallace, Frank and Jennifer Wallace and Michael Wallace; four grandchildren, Heather, Owen, Nicholas and Cassandra Wallace; his siblings, Gloria Ann Wallace, Lavina and Mike Brown, Margy Shull, Robert and Margie Smith, all of Springfield; Gloria and Billy Kirkham of Parump, Nevada, Jerry Wallace and Carla Stepp of Fairgrove, Larry and Barbara Wallace of Bolivar; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends such as, Mary Schneider, Larry Lillard, Chris Thomas, Rick Stacey, Ollie Harding, Blake and Tim Nielsen, Special Mamaw, Shirley and Walter Jessen, Randy Chilton and Tom and Donna Stapleton, Rebecca Wallace; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Terry and Eric Spyres.

Mark was a devoted loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend who possessed a compassionate, unconditional love for everyone.

Mark grew up in Springfield, Missouri and California. He married Tonya Hobson May 23, 1987. He worked several years in the automotive field. Mark's favorites were children, grandchildren, loud music, family, fun neighbors, sweet and sour shrimp, sweet wine, good movies and his dogs. Mark loved to work on and drive fast cars. His life touched the hearts of everyone and will be greatly missed.

Memorial services will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday December 29, 2009 in Temple Baptist Church 2655 N. Grant.
