Obituary for Nathan Lee Sreaves

Nathan Lee  Sreaves
Nathan Lee Sreaves, age 60, of Mount Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 2:15a.m., on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, in his home. He was born February 8, 1957, in Seneca, Missouri, the son of Ned and Gwendolyn (Wallace) Sreaves.

He enlisted in the United States Air Force and received an honorable discharge. Nathan was a loving father and grandfather. He was a caring man, whom treated all with dignity, respect, and patience. Nathan valued the time spent with family. He enjoyed watching Cardinal's baseball with his son, Blake. He spent time outdoors; swimming, walking and sightseeing. Nathan was proud of his American Indian heritage.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine; one son, Blake and his wife, Ashley, and their two daughters Kimberly and Natalie, of Mount Vernon, Missouri; two sisters, Nedlin and Amy of Neosho, Missouri; two brothers, Wallace and Alexander Sreaves; two step-children and several step grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday November 28, 2017 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut Street Springfield, MO. Graveside services with military honors will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday November 29, 2017 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery Springfield, Missouri with Rev. Fred Royer officiating.
