Obituary for Loren Lee Ryder

Loren Lee  Ryder
Loren Lee Ryder, 87, Fair Grove, passed away Monday November 24, 2014 in Mercy Hospital.

He was born June 30, 1927 in Lamar, Missouri to Ruby F. and Willie (Clark) Ryder. Loren was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and three sisters.

Loren is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his children, Dorothy Bendure, Gena Gideon, Mary Ryder, Linda Hegarty, John Ryder and Loren Ryder; sister, Betty Taylor; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many friends and family.

Memorial Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday November 26, 2014 in St. Agnes Cathedral under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut. Burial with military honors will follow at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson’s Group of the Ozarks, PO Box 50595, Springfield, MO 65805 or American Cancer Society, 3322 S. Campbell Ave, Springfield, MO 65807.
