Orville Edwin  Parsons

Orville Edwin Parsons age 90 (Springfield)
Passed peacefully away at Willard Care Center August 11, after a long illness. Orville was born to Chester C. Parsons & Hazel M. (Harmon) May 7, 1924 in Springfield, Mo. Orville served in the U.S. Army 879 as an Airborne Engineer from 1942-1946 during WWII. He was a Retired Auto Mechanic & a member of the American Legion post 676.
He was preceded in death by both Parents, 3 Brothers, 3 Sisters & 2 Sons. He is Survived by his Life Partner Betty J. Watts of the home, Son Randall Parsons & Wife Rebecca Brigham City, Utah; Daughter Teresa Head & Husband Jared Maled, Idaho. 9 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, several Nieces and Nephews. As well as a host of other Family & Friends.
Graveside Services will be held Monday August 18 at 1 pm National Cemetary with full Military Honors. In leiu of Flowers: donations can be made in memory of Orville to Seasons Hospice 1831 W. Melville Springfield, Mo. 65802
