Obituary for Mike Albright

Mike Albright
Clayton Robert (Mike) Albright passed away early Monday morning in the Nixa Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mike was born June 5, 1931 in the farm home in western New York, where he attended school. After graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was sent to cooking school in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. While there he became very fond of Missouri and the Ozark area.

After finishing his training, he was sent to North Korea he served for two years.
After Mike’s discharge from the army he returned and was employed by General Motors in the radiator division where he worked until retiring.

When he retired, Mike moved to Springfield, Mo where he lived until his passing.
Mike loved bowling, square dancing, and the Lady Bear’s basketball. He is survived by one son, a brother-in-law, nieces, and a long time friend, Joann Clopton.

Mike will be privately interred in Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in the Columbarium Wall on June 6, 2018 . No services held.
