Obituary for Karen Elizabeth Pearl

Karen Elizabeth  Pearl
Karen Elizabeth Pearl, 58, of Springfield, Missouri passed away at 8:50pm on Friday March 2, 2018 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
She was born on February 29, 1960 in Mexico, Missouri to George and Martha (Adkins) Coil. She attended Mexico, Missouri public schools and Missouri State University where she graduated with her Masters Degree in Speech and Language Pathology. She worked for Springfield Public Schools as a Speech and Language Pathologist for over 30 years.
She married Jeff Pearl on November 3rd, 1984 in Mexico Missouri. They had two daughters, Amy and Kimberly. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her dogs, and giving to others and will be deeply be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father George Riley Coil.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Pearl; her children, Amy (Pearl) Anderson, and Kimberly Pearl; her son-in-law, Kaleb Anderson; her mother, Martha (Adkins) Coil; her brother, Mark Coil; and her nieces, Meagan Coil-Jacobson, and Sara (Coil) Dean.

Visitation will be on Thursday March 8 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street, Springfield, MO 65806.
Funeral mass will be on Friday March 9 at 10:30am at St. Agnes Cathedral, 533 S. Jefferson Avenue, Springfield MO 65806.
