Patricia Ann  McDonough (Reissig)
Patricia Ann McDonough, age 89, of Springfield, Missouri passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

She was born January 21, 1929 in Huntington, West Virginia the daughter of Anthony C. Reissig and Pauline (Bartley) Reissig.

On September 23, 1950 she married the love of her life, Robert Gene McDonough, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Patricia was a bookkeeper for an McDonough Equipment Company for many years prior to her retirement. She was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Springfield and the Highland Springs Country Club.

Patricia was an avid bridge player and went twice a week to the Bridge Center to play. She enjoyed reading, loved to get-out-and-go as she was a very social butterfly. She was an avid sports fan and loved her yard to look beautiful for anyone that lived by her to enjoy, or just driving past the house. Patricia truly enjoyed the delights of her candy and desserts. Most of all she loved and cherished her husband, grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was proud of her family…all of them. She praised her grandchildren whenever she had a chance to brag on them.

Pat is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert Gene McDonough; three children, Matt McDonough and his wife Kate, Karen Myears and her husband Don, Kim Kilway and her husband Ray; 10 grandchildren, and two great grandbabies.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Mark McDonough; her grandson, Matthew Myears; and her only brother, Anthony Reissig.

A viewing will be held from 9:00 am until 10:00 am Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 3555 S. Fremont, Springfield, Missouri.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Tom Kiefer, celebrant.

A graveside service will be held on 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Road, Springfield, Missouri.
