Rosella Marie Levin (Schonhoff)
Rosella was born November 21, 1928, the daughter of William and Agnes Schonhoff at the family farm near Milnor, ND. She married Jim Levin August 4, 1960 and their daughter Jayne (Line) was born October 9, 1967. They raised their family in Fargo and enjoyed their cottage on Lake Eunice. She was involved with the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary for 50 years. After retiring from the Eagles, Jim & Rosella enjoyed 10+ years at their lake home before moving to Springfield, MO. Although her friends and family were spread across the country they remained close and very dear to her heart. She enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her family, taking pictures, and going on the occasional Casino trip. Rosella struggled with Parkinson's for a number of years, but her spirit remained strong, her heart loving, and her smile precious.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sister and brother-in-law Loyola & Duane Tayer; a brother Gerald Schonhoff; and a nephew Billie Staudt.
Rosella is survived by her daughter Jayne Line and her husband Ken LaMar; her granddaughter Makayla Line and her husband Scotty Long; her sisters Monica Staudt and her husband Jim Staudt of Hartselle, Alabama and Mary Johnson of Duluth, Minnesota; and twenty nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday January 25, 2018 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel with Fr. Lewis Hejna officiating. Burial will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
