Obituary for Jack Preston Steinle

Jack Preston  Steinle
Jack Preston Steinle died on December 24, 2017, after a brief illness. He was born April 2, 1928, in Russell, Kansas, to John David and Lula Preston Steinle.

He graduated from Kansas University with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, served as an officer in the US Marine Corps, and completed law school at Washburn University. He practiced law in Aurora, Missouri, for 20 years, before serving as Associate Circuit Judge of Lawrence County. After retirement he resided in Bella Vista, Arkansas, with his wife Mary.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Thomas H. Steinle and Donald R. Steinle. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary H. Steinle of Springfield, MO; four children,--April McDonough (Charles) of Aurora, David Steinle of Cape Fair, Dr. Jeff Steinle, and Crystal Graham (Dan) of Springfield; six grandchildren--Erin Hladik, Patrick McDonough, Joel Steinle, Arwen Pratt, Lindsay Harden, and Paige Johnson; and nine great-grandchildren.

Cremation by Herman H Lohmeyer Funeral Home; private service to be held at a later date.
