Obituary for Steven Allen Mayer
Our beloved son, brother, and friend, Steven Allen Mayer also known as Brother Bear and Skinny, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017, at the age of 26.
Steven was born on August 22, 1991. He was born in Jacksonville, FL and recently resided in Fair Grove, MO.
Steven lived much of his childhood in Wenatchee, WA.
He is survived by his father James Mayer, his mother Heidi Luchenbill; his siblings Maria Cron, Carol Mayer and Jimmy Bean Mayer; his paternal grandparents Carol & Terry Lee, James and Lynda Mayer and his maternal grandmother Barbara Crook; his uncles andaunts Douglas Mayer, Kellie Mayer, Debbie Radcliffe, Linda Adams, Mark Cron, Pamela Berrera, Carol Byer, Jennifer Thorne, Eugene Cron, Joey Cron and several other uncles, aunts and their children; His paternal cousins Brandie McDonald, Tiffanie Mayer and Douglass Mayer Jr and their children; his nieces and nephews Marissa, Steven, Isaac, Zechariah, Brayden, Isabela, Alliyah, and Steven; Other relatives who influenced and were close to Steven are Deanna & Ed Mosley and their sons, John & Toni Hopke and their children, Sherry Demps and her family, and the entire Hulst clan; his second mother Shawna Gulick and her son Dylan Hammer ; his step mother Lorraine Mayer and his step siblings Mikayla and Logan. Steven is preceded in death by several uncles, aunts and his maternal grandfather.
Steven had a heart of gold and was loved by many. He was devoted to his family and friends. He always loved with all he had. Steven continuously gave his all to those in need. He went out of his way to help others, even if he wasn’t sure how. He loved animals, especially his puppy Dom. He also loved hot rods, music and making people laugh. Steven was never afraid to be himself. He faced adversity with determination and a smile. We could not have asked for a better son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend. He will sadly be missed and never forgotten.
Stevens Memorial Service will be held on January 13, 2018. The service will begin at 12:15pm. Following the service will be a Chinese Lantern Lighting Ceremony on the beach.
