Bobbie Lee Adams, age 88 of Springfield, Missouri went to his heavenly home on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Maranatha Village in Springfield.

He was born March 20, 1929 in Buffalo, Kansas to Harold E. Adams and Lula (Welch) Adams.

Bobbie worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. and AT&T Telephone as a repairman for 40 years retiring in 1983. He was a longtime member of Hamlin Baptist Church.

Survivors include his three children, Dan & Jean Adams, Mark Adams, Janilyn & Scott Erwin all of Springfield; eight grandchildren, Aaron Adams, Brett & Amber Adams, Shaun & Taylor Adams, Aubrey & Colby Plotner, Connor Erwin, Paxton Erwin, Valerie & Kevin French, and Darin Rains; three great grandchildren, Cody Adams, Levi Adams and Paislee Adams; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patricia; and his five siblings, Dean, Don, Ron, Jackie and Mary.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2017 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street, Springfield. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hamlin Baptist Church Building Fund.
