Obituary for Joan Burnette (Johnson)
Joan Johnson Burnette age, 65 passed away on July 25th, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Joan was born December 17th, 1951 in Lodhi, Virginia, the daughter of Delmar Charles Johnson & Dorothy Lois (Testerman) Johnson.
Joan was a wonderful cook and enjoyed her flowers. Her real enjoyment came when she was able to go to any yard sale in Springfield.
She is survived by her husband, Michael L. Burnette of the home; her son, Michael Wayne Bragg and his wife Rebecca of Paducah, Kentucky; two sisters, Dorothy Dishon and her husband Lacey of Dublin, Virginia, Barbara McClure and her husband Ronnie also of Dublin, Virginia; numerous nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews and great great nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Delmar Charles Johnson.
A Memorial Service will be at 5:00pm, Friday, July 28, 2017 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home in Springfield with Reverend Gray Nordan officiating. A visitation will follow the service in our chapel until 7:30pm.
