Condolences

Condolence From: Gregory Rhodes
Condolence: David was one of my Training Captains when I was in the SFD fire academy. David was always fair and concerned for our understanding of the responsibilities as future firefighters. Later on in my career, David was my Battalion Chief, and again his compassion and fairness was ever present when dealing with subordinates and supervisors alike. Ms. Rebecca, meeting you and seeing David for the first time in a few years at Mercy CANCT was great and sad.I am very sorry for your loss and I pray for God's comfort, guidance, and love to surround your family in your grieving. Take care and God bless.

Condolence From: Mary Connolly
Condolence: My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I had the honor of working briefly with Dave. One thing that stood at was his genuine interest in helping others. His desire to enrich the life of children was clear and determined. I always looked forward to his "good mornings" in the office, always a warm sincere smile. He spoke of his wife and children with such respect and expressed his gratitude for each of them. Then there was that sense of humor he shared, he knew how to "zing" you when you least expected it. I admired Dave, as he was one who truly took what he was doing for children seriously. He was an example of what you give to and for others is a gift to yourself. I am grateful for the crossing of our paths. May he now rest in peace and may his family find comfort in all the memories they made together. Mary Connolly (OACAC)
