Yen Viet Pham, 77 (Springfield, Missouri), passed away at 7:11 AM on June 17th, 2017 on the eve of Father’s Day.

He was born on July 13th, 1940 in Kim Bich (Nam Sach, Hai Duong) to Khiet Viet Pham and Than Thi Nguyen. He was a veteran soldier of South Vietnam. He married Phuong Thi Vu on April 15th, 1969 in Saigon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Khiet Viet Pham (1910-1999) and Than Thi Nguyen (1916-1957). He is survived by his wife, Phuong Thi Vu; his children: Tien, Vui, Vy, Lien, Loan, Tan and Tuan; his grandchildren: MyAnh, Thien Phong; PhuongTran, DuyThien; Khanh Vy, Phuong Thao; Tuyet Nhi, Gia Huy; Khanh Nhat, Khanh Ly; Minh Hieu, Duc Anh, Bao Thu, Bao Duy; Nguyet Cat, Minh Vinh.

Visitation hours will be from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, June 23rd, 2017 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home (500 E. Walnut St.) with prayer services by the Vietnamese Catholic Community starting at 7:30 PM.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 24th, 2017 at St. Agnes Cathedral (533 S. Jefferson Ave.) Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery (4528 W. Division St.) .
