Best Friends

We've been friends for 44 years!! Met in undergraduate school. We had so many laughs and good times. We both would listen to each other and help best we could. One story was when Jo bought a little sailboat, took lessons and when ready for her maiden voyage she called upon me who knew NOTHING. I knew we were in trouble when Jo could not get the mast up and still in the parking lot. But I went anyways. It took an hour to get out of this little enclosed area pond type area before she went onto the Illinois river. Yes I said river with dead aim for a barge. I'm yelling "I'm going bail ship" we both were laughing so hard. I'm here so Jo did miss the barge. She continued to try and sail, we were both in and of the boat trying to get it going in the right direction. Lost my shoes in the river, finally Jo had to walk the boat back or we would still be on that river. Both exhausted and still laughing went to a bar to end our day. Love that girl. Adventurous and full of her own style of spunk. Will miss u soooo much. Be happy with the Lord and family.
