Obituary for Keith Hunt

Keith Hunt

Keith Wayne Hunt, 82, passed in God’s loving arms on April 14, 2017. He was born on July 3, 1934, in Beatrice, Nebraska. The son of the late Charles and Pearle Hunt. Keith was a longtime resident of Springfield, Missouri. He lived a active life.
He was a “Navy Medic”,in the 1950’s on the “USS Neptune’. Keith worked at “Lily Tulip Cup Co.” for over 30 years.
Taking time to enjoy life he was a longtime Pro Bowler. Enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and listening to Baseball games on the radio. He really liked the St. Louis Cardinals, and became a fan of the “Springfield Cardinals” He actually went to watch them play recently.
Keith maintained the apartment complex where he resided for the past 12 years. He had made friends with his neighbors. Who enjoyed just visiting most every day outside of the complex. Went on bus trips, went Walmart for groceries and even went to doctors appointments, maybe not the same day. They shared their faith together as well. Keith did attend Sunday worship. They all looked out for one another.
Keith is survived by two brothers, Charles Jr. and Ronnie Hunt, of Nebraska. Many nieces and nephews. As well as survived by two daughters, Nokomis Meyers and Lisa Hunt. A son Brian Wayne Hunt of Springfield, Missouri.
He will be missed by all, Keith is at Peace, and “One day we’ll meet again.” I Love you Dad!
