Obituary for Willard F. Pierce

Willard F.  Pierce
Willard F. Pierce Jr., passed away at home in Springfield, MO; on March 29, 2017. He was born November 23, 1926 in Pilot Grove, MO. During WWII he served in the U. S. Navy in the Pacific Theater.

On November 16, 1944, he married the love of his life Billee Minor. To this union there were four children born. After serving in the military, Willard returned to begin is 42-year career at Harry Cooper Supply Company. In retirement, Willard enjoyed tinkering with small engine repair for family and friends. Willard was a member of Grace Nazarene Church.

Willard was preceded in death by his wife Billee of 60 years, son Kim, and an infant daughter.

He is survived by son Ricky Pierce (Connie) of Broken Arrow, OK, daughter Pamela Pierce of Springfield. Willard had six grandchildren Amanda, Justin, Crystal, Rachel, Shawn, and Cheyanne and nine great-grandchildren. He had three granddogs Hannah, Hailey, and Willie that he loved very much.

Services will be held at Lohmeyer Funeral Home on Monday, April 3rd, 2017. Visitation at 9 a.m. and service follows at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Cedar Bluff Cemetery in Fair Grove, MO.
