Kathy E. Sears, age 60 of Springfield, Missouri passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at her home.

Kathy was born a daughter of Alexander and Eva (Wood) Tousley on June 1, 1956 in Kansas City, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kenneth.

She was a Secretary for Missouri State University.

Survivors are her husband, Tom Sears; sister, Judith Tousley; a brother-in-law, Francis N. Sears; and a sister-in-law, Mary M. Sears.

There will be a memorial service 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
