Obituary for Shirley Sue Ann Matejcek (Goodman)
Shirley Sue Ann Goodman Matejcek 70, Springfield, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, in Springfield. Shirley was born October 18, 1946, in Mount Vernon, Missouri to Gus and Caroline Goodman. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Andy and Byron Goodman and one sister Willa Kettering.
She is survived by five daughters Jo Ann Malen, Julia Elaine Wilson, Laurie Lowe, Suzanne Knickerbocker and April Lee Hawkins. Three sons Ray Joe Glover, Edward Matejcek, James Michael Goodman, twenty five grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Three brothers Michael Goodman, Jimmy Goodman, G.A. Goodman, two sisters Carolyn Epps and Janet Haskins.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2017 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel, 500 East Walnut Street, Springfield.
