Obituary for Gerald Arnold Pagel

Gerald Arnold  Pagel
Gerald Arnold Pagel, 80, Springfield, passed away at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in Missouri Veterans Home, Mt. Vernon, Mo. He was born October 23, 1936 in Midlothian, Illinois to Ida (Fedora) and Arno Pagel. He was a Veteran of the Army and worked as a Foreman in the Tool & Die Department of the Steel Fabrication Industry. Gerald was an adept handyman and could fix anything. He was very active at his Church and served on the Board.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jean Pagel; and a grandson, Gerad Pagel. He is survived by his wife, Carol; four children, Susan Pagel, Springfield, Janet Zese (Curt), Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, Douglas Pagel (Bonnelle), Omaha, Nebraska, and Darlene Jung (Kevin), Kenosha, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Pagel, Pound, Wisconsin; a sister, Lee Oostman, Longview, Washington.
