Mary J. Cossey 66, Pittsburg, Missouri formerly of Springfield, Missouri passed away on October 15, 2016, in her home near Pittsburg, Missouri. She was born June 4, 1950, in Springfield, Missouri to William and Jane Chandler. Mary worked in factory work for many years and enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. She attended Hermitage Christian Church in Hermitage.
Mary was preceded in death by her father and a brother Chuck Chandler.
She is survived by one daughter Carla Cossey, Springfield, Missouri, one son Derrick Cossey, Nixa, Missouri, five grandchildren, Brittany Brown, Cayden Cossey, Dustin Cossey, A J Blakey and Destiny Cossey. Her mother Jane Chandler, three brothers Frank Chandler, David Chandler and wife Linda and Dean Chandler. Three sisters Ruthann Hopkins and husband Jay, Charlene Chandler and Schnett Chandler, and by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2016, in Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel, 500 E. Walnut Street, Springfield. Memorial donations may be made to: Central Care Cancer Center, 1501 N. Oakland Dr, Bolivar, Missouri 65613
