Virginia Lee Williams, 88, Springfield, passed away at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Virginia Beach General Hospital, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

She was born January 10, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri, to Lee and Lois Howell. She married William Harry Williams Sr on September 02, 1946 in Springfield. Mrs. Williams worked as Home Healthcare Provider for 17 years. She enjoyed playing cards, watching classical movies, arranging flowers and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and granddaughter Kelly.

She is survived by her children, William Harry Williams Jr., Robert Lee Williams and wife Kelley, and Aron Boyd Williams and wife Rita; 4 grandchildren, Gregory, Geoffrey, Jason and Christine.

Graveside services will be at 11 am, Monday, May 08, 2017 in Springfield National Cemetery under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home with prayer services starting at 7 p.m.
