Obituary for Charles "Chuck" William Mushrush

Charles “Chuck” William Mushrush, 98, of Springfield, MO, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 in Cox South Hospital. He was born April 24, 1918 in Irondale, Ohio to William and Jessie (Penman) Mushrush.

He was a World War II Veteran and a 4th Degree Knight. He was a loving husband, good father, faithful Catholic and loved his Church. Chuck would always say, “You’re born, you live, and you die”.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Violet; 2 sons, Grant and wife, Valerie of California, and Paul and wife, Karen of Arkansas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a special niece, Laurie Tibaldi and husband, Nick, and their son, Nico; and a nephew.

Funeral Mass will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016 in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 2200 West Republic Road with Msgr. Thomas Reidy, celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior, at 11:00 a.m. in the Church. Burial will be at a later date in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
