Condolences

Condolence From: Daryl Benzel
Condolence: I met Matt 3 years ago this Fall. Although our paths did not cross often, he instantly stood out to me as a thoughtful, loving, and intelligent man. I know several others who spent a great deal more time with him, and I mourn their loss as much as I mourn the loss of a fantastic human being. Farewell, my friend.

Condolence: Matt was my brother's best friend. I didn't spend as much time with Matt as many people who are grieving him did, but he made a tremendous impression on me because when I was around him it was so clear how much he wanted to make other people feel comfortable and happy and good about themselves. This was true of him even as a teenager, when most people, even kind people, let their own self-consciousness insulate them from other people's feelings. It can't have been easy for Matt to be as good as he was, but he was, and I'm grateful I got to see it.

Condolence: We watched Matt grow from a busy gentle boy to a especially kind man whose smile said it all. He cared about others and acted on their needs and wants. Matt often seemed like another member of our family and we will always be grateful that Matt and Tony were so close.

Condolence: We met Matt shortly after moving to Ozark and he was at the Finley River Park Craft Fair recruiting patients for Mitchell Chiropractic. Loved his bubbly and enthusiastic personality.

Condolence: Prayers to you and your family.
I remember taking Matt home from school many times, before he could drive.
One time he and my daughter Kristy and think Nick Wansley decided Matt was going to show them how to make a sparkler bomb at our house. Kristy s dad had his Corvette sitting in the driveway. He went outside just as they were getting ready to set it I off.
I thought he was going to kill them all then.
I will always have a special place in my heart for Matt. May he rest in peace, the struggle is over. God Bless all of you.
