Edward James  Young
Edward James Young, 58 from Springfield, MO passed away Saturday June 11, 2016 at S. Cox Hospital from a massive heart attack.

Edward was born May 2, 1958 in Dubuque, IA. He was the son of Emmett and Ada (LuGrain) Young. Mr. Young was a veteran and was proud to have been in the Marines.

He married Donna Jean Beversdorf, the love of his life on August 18, 1979 in Dubuque, IA.

He enjoyed the creative work he did on the computer and especially loved to create special birthday wishes to family and friends and took his time to make them memorable. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Mark Young, Emmett Young Sr., Thomas Young, and Dennis Young; his sister, Bernice H. Young; and his brother in-law Eugene Ousley.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Young; his children Melissa (Jason) Carpenter, Tara (Shane) Huddleston, Adam Young and Paul Young. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Madelyn, Tyler, Levi and Ian (to be born July 12, 2016) Carpenter. Trista, Alexas, and Boston Huddleston. And Adam Young’s daughter Brooklynn Fincher. His surviving siblings are Linda (William) Strong, Phyllis Ousley, John (Kay) Young, Robert (Betty) Young, SR., Kathy (Jimmy) Carner, and Sister-In-Law Mrs. Pat Young as well as many nieces and nephews

Visitation will start at 12 p.m. Monday June 20, 2016 in Clark Chapel James River Church South Campus, 6100 N. 19th Street in Ozark, MO. Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. following the visitation, with Pastor Mark Wright officiating under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.

Burial with military honors will be immediately following at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery off of the Evans Road exit.
