Joy  Redfearn (Holloway)
Joy Holloway Redfearn, 78, Mount Vernon, died Sunday May 22, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was born September 16, 1937, in Carryville Arkansas to Jack and Julie Holloway. She was a lifelong resident of Lawrence County and a 1955 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School.
She was a homemaker and a press operator at Woods Laundry. She was a full-time stay-at-home grandma for many years. She was a member of The Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 120 Miller, and an avid bingo player. She loved to read, work puzzles and enjoyed many activities with her grandkids and great grandkids. She was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by three sons, Jim Redfearn and Sheila Renard, David and Dianna Redfearn all of Mount Vernon, and Aaron and Sheila Redfearn of Brandon, Florida; Nine grandchildren, Summer and Nathan Conn, Shaunda and Sean Killingsworth, Joshua Mueller and Ashley Mueller, all of Springfield, Eva Lee Redfearn and Jamison Redfearn, both of Brandon, Florida; and Chelsea and Dustin Tudor, Wylie and Stephanie Redfearn and Daniel Redfearn, all of Mount Vernon; 12 great grandchildren, Sawyer Conn, Kaedance, Kye and Kaymbria Killingsworth, Isaiah, Grace and Carley Mueller, Amari, Brogan and Eliyas Tudor and Arizona and Nova Redfearn; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Redfearn; parents Jack and Julie Holloway; one brother Robert Holloway; two sisters Athalea Holloway and Naomi Pendleton; and one granddaughter, Aayla Redfearn.

Services are to be held on Thursday May 26, 2016. Visitation will be from 10:00 am -11:30 with the Funeral directly following at 11:30 at Lifebridge Assembly of God Church, Mt. Vernon. Burial will follow at Mount Vernon City Cemetery.
