It allows family and friends a place to re-visit, interact with each other, share and enhance this tribute for future generations. Lettie "Virginia"  Cadotte (Routh)
Lettie “Virginia” Cadotte, 89, Springfield, Missouri, passed away at 8:30 p.m. May 18, 2016 in Jordan Creek Nursing Home.

She was born January 25, 1927 in Plattsburg, MO to John and Iva Routh. She attended Plattsburg High School. In pursuing a better life, Virginia moved to Alaska and found a job but what she found became the biggest treasure of her life, our Redeemer and Savior Jesus our Lord and King. Soon after Virginia became an active soldier of the Cross of Christ. In preaching and sharing God’s Word, she was second to none. In the 90’s, she took 2 Mission trips to Israel and several trips to Acuna Coahuila, Mexico in her effort to reach the lost for Christ. In the 90’s, she also contributed with Rev. Larry Rice (New Life Evangelistic Center Ministry) as the head Pastor of Free Store. She always had a great compassion for children and the homeless. Sister Virginia and her husband was the Director of the Free Store NLEC ministry in Springfield, MO for several years. For more than 15 years, she would go with her husband every Sunday at 8:00 p.m. to Panera Bread Company to receive donation for the ministry. The very next day she would go around several places in Springfield to distribute the bread to the needed. Every year she would plant a garden and harvest it and give to the homeless the produce. She would seek for donor of anything in order to help in every possible those that God would put in her path and journey in this world. She enjoyed friendly discussions on theological, doctrinal and current events related to biblical matters.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Jeff, Charles, John D. Routh Jr.; and her sister, Catherine Greenstreet.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, L. Edward Cadotte; sister, Marie Shea; brother, Donald Routh and many nieces, nephews, and many brethren and friends in Chris our Lord and Savior.

Funeral services will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday May 23, 2016 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday May 24, 2016 in Old Union Cemetery near Stockton, MO.
