Obituary for Florence L. Kaiser (Jones)

Florence L.  Kaiser (Jones)
Florence Lorraine Kaiser, 86 of Springfield passed away at 2:28 p.m. Saturday April 23, 2016 in Jordan Creek Nursing and Rehab Center, to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and also reunited with her husband after a separation of almost 10 years and joined other family and friends who preceded her in death.

Florence was born Oct. 4, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York to Leonard and Etta Jones. Florence loved playing Scrabble and watching Kojak and Perry Mason on her DVD player. She enjoyed dining with family and friends. Her life had a tremendous impact on those she met and put a smile on their faces, especially during the past year, by the staff of Jordan Creek.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Nancy, her brothers Leonard, Albert & James Jones.

She is survived by her six sons, George Emmett Kaiser, Jr., Robert Albert Kaiser (Denise), Joseph Andrew Kaiser (Debbie), all of Springfield, John Richard Kaiser of Nixa, Daniel Matthew Kaiser (Suzanne) of Trieste, Italy and Anthony Joseph Kaiser of San Diego, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; her sisters Polly Novak and Pat (Tudy) Cipoletti both of Horse Head, New York and Thelma Gibson of Lake George, New York and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday April 26th in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday April 27th in the funeral home with Pastor Curt Zachary officiating. Burial will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery.
