Obituary for Susan Elaine Yoder (Wicks)
Susan Yoder, 62, of Springfield, Mo, died on Saturday, November 21, 2015. Born November 25, 1952 in Kansas City, MO, she is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Betty Wicks of Springfield, MO, her son, Travis Wayne Yoder, and twin daughters, Tisha Danyal and Tessa Jo Yoder.
Survivors include Greg Yoder; Tiffany and Jacob Havlin, Roosevelt and Guillaume; Tara Yoder; Tanya and Kevin Bone-Leonard, William and Rebekah; Randy Wicks; Jeff and Angie Wicks; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Susan was loved by many. She was a true friend and the epitome of a role model. Susan was very jovial. She enjoyed teasing her daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren. Any time she had an opportunity to play a trick on a coworker she took it. She enjoyed laughing and was a good sport when the joke was on her. Susan also enjoyed going to the beach, watching movies, baking, and spending time with her family.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, November 25, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery, Springfield.
