Una Fay  Painter (Young)
Una Fay Painter, Springfield, moved to glory at 6:10 a.m., Friday, October, 2, 2015 at home. She was born on August 8, 1945 in Turkey Creek, Kentucky to Hiram and Susie Young. She graduated from Anthony High School, Anthony, Florida and retired from MSU. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and working at the FM Store following retirement and is deeply loved and missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, James Young, and a sister, Myrtle Davies. She is survived by seven brothers and sisters, Minnie Maynard, Earnest Young, Bill Young, Darrell Young, John Young, Hester Cline, and Maggie Bullard, her husband, R. A. Painter, and three daughters and their families, Gerry, Karen, Madeleine and Mason True, Kathy, Luke, Isaac, Ava, and Levi Schettler, and Bill and Kim Gremminger.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 9, at Crossway Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 10 at Crossway Baptist Church. Burial will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan’s Purse at samaritanspurse.org/our-ministry/memorial-giving after October 6.
