Obituary for Susan Laurie Spinner (Wills)

Susan Laurie Wills Spinner, 56, Eminence, died at 8:29 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, at Cox Hospital South, Springfield.

She was born August 3, 1958, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Charles and Joann Wills. She lived much of her life in Everton and Eminence, Missouri. She attended Ash Grove High School, and later became a Certified Nurse Assistant. She also worked in other service positions and was a dedicated homemaker. She and Robert Spinner were married in August, l975 and together raised their three children, Robert Nathaniel Spinner (Teresa), Joshua Neil Spinner (Rebecca), and Sarah Joann Thomas (Ken).

Also surviving are her brother, Charles Michael Wills, Springfield, and her sister, Cynthia Ann Baker, Republic, seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends. Grandchildren are Kelsey and Kassidy Spinner, Winona, Missouri, Joseph, Israel, Stevie, and Elizabeth Thomas, Eminence, Missouri, and Wyatt Nathaniel Spinner, Wasilla, Alaska.

Services will be held Saturday, July 18, at 2:00 p.m. at the Everton Presbyterian Church with burial at Sinking Creek Cemetery, Everton, MO. Pastor Tom Anderson will officiate.
