Bethany Lynn Jacobson, 19, of Springfield, passed away on May 26, 2015. She was born July 26, 1995 in Springfield, MO to Jimmy Allen Jacobson and Lisa Ann (Grabber) Cardone. She was a 2013 graduate of Springfield Catholic High School and had attended St. Agnes Elementary. Bethany had just completed her sophomore year at Saint Louis University where she was pursuing a degree in Public Health. She was also a member of the Medical Scholars program and volunteered many hours to the Women’s Refugee Program, the Student Activity Board and Breast Cancer events. She intended on applying to medical school and wanted to be a pediatrician and do missionary work. Bethany loved to read and had a vast knowledge of all worldly subjects. She loved spending time with family and was very active in her Girl Scout troops from elementary all the way through high school. She loved volunteering at the Girl Scout camp and loved the smell of rain.
