Obituary for Lee Allen "Beeb" Herbert

Lee Allen "Beeb"  Herbert
Beeb (Lee Allen) Herbert passed away due to complications from cancer at his home surrounded by family on November 12, 2014.

Beeb was born in a house near Morrisville, MO to Lawrence and Mildred Lee (Clark) Herbert on January 30, 1947. He is survived by 5 siblings, Larry (Sherrie) Herbert, Ginger Smith, Ronnie Herbert, Dana Frank and Donna Slagle.

Beeb met Mona Nicholson through her sister, June when they were teenagers. They were married on April 17, 1965 and to this union 5 children were born. Mike Herbert (Bolivar), Jeff (Vickie) Herbert (Raymore), Tina (Erik) Lisk (Clarksville, TN), Heather Herbert (Bolivar), Kendra (Randy) Long (Bolivar). Beeb also had a son with Darlene Smith, Dylan Smith (Port St. John, FL).

Beeb is survived by all of his children and his grandchildren, Michael Keithley, Malissa (Trey) Hayes, Katie Phillips, Bailey Lisk, Blayne Bartshe, Brooklyn Bartshe, Christian Herbert, Bradyn Long, Brian Reed, Brandon Reed, and Luke Reed. As well as great grandchildren, Ramiah, Isaiah and Rowden. Beeb had a very close relationship with Mona's family and is survived by many sister and brother in-laws as well as nephews and nieces.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Mona (Oct. 2007), sister, Pat (Dec. 2012), brother, Keith (Oct. 2014), mother, Mildred (March 1997) and his father Lawrence (Jan. 1982).

Beeb worked in the insurance, construction and tiling business all of his life. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and watching/participating in sports and has passed that on to his kids and grandkids.

Beeb will be cremated and the family will hold a private burial service at Greenwood Cemetery on November 15, 2014.
